My Psalm to my Lord 1:1

Jesus in my heart
Holy spirit I belong to you
God, I live my life
In service and gratitude
You’re the power in my life
The one that drives my soul
You give me peace, in anguish
It is you that makes me whole

Nothing ever eased the pain
I hurt. I cry. I pray.
Now there is no ache
That you won’t take away
Love isn’t large enough
To explain my heart for you
Hope is a mere word
There is nothing you can't do
I can't adore you enough
I don’t have the words to direct
To you, the precious devotion
That you deserve and respect

I want to share your grace and mercy
With all whom I know
I want to share the awe in my soul
So that in you, they’ll grow
But so many refuse
To hear your Word in their hearts
They turn from me and from you
And away they depart
I cry for their souls
I cry in the night
It’s essential that they see
The one choice, death or life
Where are they going?
Why won’t they hear?
Are they deaf and not hearing,
That the end is so near?
O Lord, hear my prayers
O Lord, feel my pain
Please show them on earth
There is nothing to gain
Just show them your love
From deep in your heart
Show them the cross
And the gift you impart
Jesus, You gave your life
And even now feel the sting
For each and every sinful act
That daily, to you, we bring
If that isn’t enough
We give you our sorrows to bear
And often are not thankful
For your love and your care
Lord God, with you all things are possible
With you all can overcome
I pray you help us teach the world
That you are the only One.
Help us share with our friends
Why we love you so much
Don’t let them hold to worldly things
And use the devil as a crutch
O Lord, they can all be fulfilled
They can all feel intense love
The heart that expands infinitely
With affection from above
And only you can give the gift
I pray you’ll help them to receive
To accept it in their soul today
I pray in you they will believe.
I pray they’ll give their lives to you
And make the sacrifice
Just as Jesus died for all of us
For if to live, we die

O Lord, I pray for families
For ours and all others
Please guide us in your way O God
Help us to love one another
Give us peace in the world
And toward one another, I pray
Help us to speak and share in love
Not causing others to stray

Lord God, I love you abundantly
I want to obey your commands
I want to listen to your spoken word to me
And do only as you plan
I pray you help me follow you
And listen to your voice
I pray I’ll feel your touch inside
O, in your presence, I rejoice
Lord, I thank you for your many gifts
Your teachings and unfailing love
I thank you, Lord, for your Word so true
O, so much, I am thankful of.
See the love in my heart
The obedience in my mind
The spirit in my soul
To you, I will never again go blind.
You’re my beginning, and my end
I belong only to you, my Lord
My devotion is to you alone
And to you I will give praise forever more.
